Visitors Tour Chicago’s Architecture By Boat

Chicago’s First Lady pushes off from the dock of the Chicago River, teal water churning below.
The cruise takes passengers on an architectural tour of the city’s Art Deco, neo-Gothic and modern buildings. Historical landmarks, such as the Wigwam Convention Center where Abraham Lincoln was nominated president, share the riverside with walkways and cafes.
The tour also offers frequent commentary on local history and folklore.
“There was so many things about all the different buildings I didn’t realize,” said passenger Pat Stepek.
