Unity News Online Project coordinator Michelle Johnson is already in Chicago. She stopped by the McCormick Place convention center to check out the spot where more than 90 students and a group of dedicated professionals will be producing UNITY News, daily converged coverage of UNITY 2008. Here’s a photo of where we’ll be working.

Expect a daily print edition, TV and radio broadcasts and continous coverage at unitynews.org produced by all of the student projects.

The converged team will be covering breaking news online, blogging and reporting via social networking tools such as Twitter. Check back soon for details.
