Cox Foundation To Award $50K In Scholarships

The James M. Cox Foundation will award $50,000 in scholarships to support minority journalism students, Cox Enterprises Inc. announced Thursday.
Five minority journalism organizations will manage the funds: The Asian American Journalists Association; the National Association of Black Journalists; the National Association of Hispanic Journalists; the Native American Journalists Association and the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association.
The scholarships will be open to minority students pursuing a career in print, digital, broadcast or photo journalism.
